    1. Bryan Hathaway in his new book, David and Goliath Book One in The Guardian Angel Chronicles series published by Wine Press Publishing gives us a an intriguing glimpse into what happens when we are touched by God.David Liberty is a man of seventy five whose body has failed so he lives in an old age home where he cannot move or talk He possesses the desire to express his emotions to his family and to the staff but his body will not allow him to so he sits in silence waiting to die However a woman [...]

    2. Title DAVID AND GOLIATH Author Byyan HathawayMay 2010 ISBN 978 1 60615 015 3Genre contemporarySpiritual warfare has a new voice, and its name is Bryan Hathaway In book one of The Guardian Angel Chronicles, Hathaway introduces David Liberty, a bitter, depressed old man trapped in a nursing home, equally trapped inside a body that refuses to obey his wishes With his past littered with a failed marriage and the loss of a son, and with no prospects for a bright future, David longs for death Until Jo [...]

    3. This book is a great book for anyone who liked Peretti s This Present Darkness or Piercing the Darkness It even is reminiscent of Lewis Screwtape Letters Even though the plot revolves around the human David, the overall plot is worked out in the heavens Basically David is given a chance to show God that he actually does believe that He is real I enjoyed this book It was well written with a gripping plot and narrative I must admit, I was quite wary of reading this book only because speculative fi [...]

    4. Books about spiritual warfare are far from new, yet when I sat down to read this one, I knew it was different From the beginning Mr Hathaway captures your heart with his main character, David David was a successful speaker who taught others how to be successful, but along the way, he lost everything he cherished his son, his marriage, his youth, his health, and God.This book has pulled me through many emotions from crying one moment to laughing the next, and then sitting on the edge of my seat t [...]

    5. Such a fascinating and brilliant story God decides to give David, an embittered old man on his death bed, a second chance at life with a condition that he must demonstrate to Him with actions not words that he truly believes and loves Him I liked how the scriptures were just at the right time in the plot of the story Spiritually charged I recommend it However, there were many misspelled words throughout this book that became a bit annoying.

    6. Provides food for thought, e.g are small classes necessarily better Good may often come out of adversity.
