    1. This was an interesting book that made me think about just what would I do if in Liz s position I doubt I would drive around the country with my dead husband s ashes but I enjoyed following Liz s travels and adventures as she progressed through her grief I loved her visit with her former roommate and the extended stay that came with it Her visit with her grandmother had me laughing at the to do list that pretty much took over the visit It was a sad but enjoyable book.

    2. Great readI carry my mom s ashes in a bear shaped urn around my neck Her ashes will be buried with me when I go I feel that this book had a lot of good points to it and even though I haven t lost a spouse I don t think what she did was so odd Glad you found closure.

    3. Loved jtSuch a great book for anyone that s suffered the loss of a loved one As someone that s lost a significant other, her feelings resonate and will bring you to tears.

    4. Interesting, but in a strange wayThe great thing about this book is that it lets you peek into Liz s state of mind from the very start Written in the form of blog posts are they , she says in the very first blog post of hers that Nothing makes sense any It is another matter that as a blogger myself I did not find Liz s writing style to be quite realistic I mean, the way she writes her blog posts , I am yet to find any blogger write that way, and I have been reading blogs for quite a while I woul [...]

    5. Life after Joe is a bittersweet story about an unexpected widow and her efforts to regain control of her life after the absolute worst thing could possibly happen Now at this point in my life, I haven t lost someone I am truly close too, this is something I am incredibly grateful for, especially after reading through the roller coaster of emotions that poor Liz has to work through. As the synopsis states, Liz begins to try and find some sense in her new life by starting a blog, which is the forma [...]

    6. Liz just lost her husband and she is trying to move on and grieve She decides to go on a roadtrip with her dog and her husbands urn It is no normal roadtripes on a mission to make a stop to key figures in both her and her late husband s life Feelings Lots and lots of feelings Lots of sad moments, lots of funny moments, lots of angry moments, and so forth This made me feel I was worried it would just be full of sadness, but there is hope in this and it made me happy I had many moments of blurting [...]

    7. It was sort of an interesting premise, even if the ending at least a general idea of it was clear or less from the start The problem is that although it s a novel written to seem like a blog, it read like an actual blog in a bad way There were some spelling and usage errors that an editor should have caught I m also not sure how the geography of the trip worked it seemed like the main character was all over the map literally, as well as metaphorically.SPOILER The book ends with the author start [...]

    8. GoodThis was a good book but different than I thought it would be I was expecting story like, while it is a story the chapters are her blog posts Anyway, liked the way it turned out.

    9. I enjoyed this book, although found some parts a little long and not really necessary to tell the story.
