    1. Fascinating creation myths and tales from the Mayan people of Guatemala, with vibrant colourful pictures.

    2. This is a book of short stories and tales They are stories that were told to Rigoberta during her childhood from her grandparents Many of the stories talk about the Mayan culture The stories and tales include the moon, sky, sun, animals, and plants This would be a great book for children to read Recommended for 4th 6th grade The book is very entertaining and will let the child use their imagination.

    3. The author retells ancient Maya stories told to her by her grandparents The stories include the sky, the sun and moon, plants, people, animals, and gods. This was a difficult read for me Honestly, I can quite pinpoint why I usually enjoy creation stories I think I will have to revisit this one at another time.
